Have to say that this CNY was a bit dull cos dad says we should spend more time with the family members and hence the number of house hopping reduced. Nevertheless, I had a great time bonding with the family and high school friends.
Steamboat for reunion dinner! Been having steamboat for reunion dinner ever since Yun Yi's family decided to become vegetarian as it would be very troublesome to cook the usual reunion dishes for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Last minute decision to surprise Ywei for her birthday since it falls on the first day of new year. Bought this pretty looking butterscotch cake from SR but it was too sweet to my liking.
Lou Sang with father side family member minus those who went back Singapore. Not visiting mother's side this year cos some started work earlier and some was on vacation.
Visited Kim's place on Chor 5. I have no idea why, but this new year is all about mahjong instead of poker cards. Is this like a sign of getting old? Lol.
Malacca on Chor 6 and the food we had that day were so disappointing. Chicken rice ball wasn't bouncy at all, cendol was so so, the second cendol we had costed us 5 freaking ringgit and the rest of the food were not worth mentioning at all. Not s a t i s f i e d.
Met up with the girls again on Chor 9 I think? First stop was Nessa's place then we spent the whole afternoon playing mahjong at Michelle's house. Yes, mahjong again.
Case bully.
Had our dinner @ Grill Bar which somehow has their menu changed and I don't like it anymore. Headed to Jenny's place and that's when the gambling continues. Had so much fun with them that day.
